June 2004

Exscape Designs was founded in Novelty, Ohio by Bill Dysert, handling design and build work, commercial and residential maintenance, and snow and ice management across Northeast Ohio. It built its client base on repeat business and referrals rather than advertising, and its work across Chagrin Falls, Gates Mills, Pepper Pike, and Solon set the standards this company still runs on: a written scope before work begins, one point of contact on every account, and communication through the life of the project.
June 2025

Green Impressions, a long-established Cleveland landscape company, merged operations with Exscape Designs. That merger is where Exscape Group begins. The two companies built a shared services model behind it. IT, HR, payroll, marketing, and recruiting moved to the group, which is what has let Exscape Group bring in more businesses without changing how any of them serve their clients.
December 2025

WinnScapes, Pony Lawncare and Landscaping, and Shearer Patio and Landscape Services with Polaris Pools joined, bringing the company into the Columbus market with a combined depth in outdoor living, custom pools, and commercial grounds care.
March 2026

Buckeye Landscape Service joined, adding a long-established commercial reputation in Central Ohio.
Spring 2026

Lassiter and Son joined, strengthening the Cleveland market.
